After more than one year of grant writing and preparation, the BluE project has finally began on the 1st September 2023.
During the first months of the project, I will be hosted by the SARTI group of the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC) in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Here, with the collaboration of experts in marine data acquisition and telecommunication, I will upgrade the electronics and control software of SILVER2 and prepare it for the integration with the OBSEA cabled observatory.
Right now we are fully focused on development and on getting to know the surroundings of the OBSEA. Here are some photos of what is going on.
